Founders' Weekend 2011 Schedule*  
Friday September 23, 2011
  • Founders Weekend begins! 
  • 10 am to 8 pm Main Street Sidewalk Sales 
  • 3 to 5 pm Creative Lee Annual Art Show featuring work by Lee artists in the Lee Library Gallery.   Open House with refreshments and music. 
  • Tastefully Simple Food Booth at Karen Keenan's Gifts
  • Andy's Toys on Kelly Funeral Lawn
  • Meow and Growl paw print and pet toys at 167 Main Street
  • Joseph LaFlamme Christian Education Scholarship Fund at Berkshire Appraisal Company
  • Hellios Novelties at Family Wireless
  • 5 pm David Grover to perform on the Library Lawn.   Sponsored by Greylock Federal Credit Union. Under the tent if raining.
  • 5:00 to 8:00 pm "Taste of Lee" all along Main Street.*

  • 8:00 to 10:00 Lee Idol"  at the Spectrum Playhouse.  Round 1 Auditions.  Sponsored by the Lee Cultural Council and SEDF (Student Educational Fund).  First ever Lee based talent contest open to all singers/musicians who live or work in Lee.  Winner gets bragging rights, and a $100 Cash Prize.  FREE (with $5 suggested donation for those who can)
  • Founders Fun, Specials and Entertainment at all of Lee's Restaurants.

      • 1:00 pm Terry a la Berry performs on the Library Lawn,   sponsored by Applegate Inn.  Under the tent if raining.
      • 1:30 Robin O'Herin (www.robinoherin.com) singing the blues in front of Cakewalk.  Rain location:  Starving Artist Cafe
      • 2:30 pm Moonshine Holler performs on the Library lawn.  Sponsored by the Lee Cultural Council.  Rain Location:  Starving Artist Cafe

      • 4:00 to 8:00 Festival Latino in the Park. Food, music, dancing… multi-cultural celebration!
      • 5:00 pm CIP Drama Class Presentation family friendly monologues and scenes ranging from old lassics to modern worksFREE (with $5 suggested doantion for those who can)
